All sorts of games in one: Tropix
While searching the web for the game to be discussed today, I wanted it to be a surprise for you. And here's what I found: Tropix, a light summer cocktail of games developed by Robot Super Brain.
The overall idea of the game sounds pretty attractive: while playing Tropix, you spend your vacation on some faraway pristine island in the Caribbean Sea.
You've got to customize your island to your liking by decorating and shopping for food, drinks and stuff.
How do you earn them? You've got to play games.
One more vacation simulator! - you would say. Nothing of the kind. The structure of the game is quite complicated as developers seemed to have stuffed Tropix game with puzzles, arcades and brain-teasers of every kind you only can think of:
Cascade - This is the Tropix version of the match-three puzzle game. The point is to create rows of three or more fruits of the same kind. As you play this game mode, note that with time some part of the playfield may get covered with ice, and thus, become unavailable for playing.
Jungle Jump - is a piece of bananas action among the typical puzzles and arcades. The point is to jump from one liana branch to another, while swaying back and forth. You are to collect fruit, omit obstacles and get healthy to the end of the game. To me, it was the most enjoyable and funny challenges of all. At the end of each level, a winner gets several sand bucks and may celebrate the victory with the happy monkey roar.

Puffer Popper - a zuma-clone. Shoot out the multicolored bubbles moving down the screen and attempting to destruct your sand castle. Shoot them out with the bubbles of the same color on behalf of a brave crab using the traditional zuma-control key: left mouse button.
Water Words - a word game. The point is to connect the neighboring letters in order to form words. In some cases, the letters are to be swapped by a player so they can be connected in a word.
Coco-Bowl - A 3D bowling on a dock leading out into the tropical ocean. The rules remain the same, yet you are to use a coconut instead of a bowling ball and a glass bottle instead of a pin.
Solitaire - In Tropix, you can play the favorite Klondike Solitaire in three difficulty levels. As always, the version of the all-time popular card game features exotic island backgrounds.
In Tropix, general game plot turns out to be quite fun, since the main character is a funny monkey. And he is to pass through the obstacles of all kinds, traveling through exotic lands, shopping for food and striking for coziness.
The atmosphere, which means the flavor of the game is quite original that you are unlikely to confuse it with time-killer of any other kind.
Sun-lit beaches, ocean waves, crystal clear water, lovely crabs, crawling all around will make you feel like having a good time on one of the exotic islands.
Moreover, 5 more games can be further unlocked. But my trial period came to the end long before I managed to enjoy each game to the end...
