Mysteryville 2 - New Story, New Characters, New Mystery.

 

Mysteryville 2, developed by NevoSoft and published by RealArcade, is a sequel of a famous hidden-object game with tons of puzzles.

 

You are to help solving the mystery of disappearence of Laura's friend.

 

 

You are to help Laura find her friend Bill Witovsky who has mysteriously disappeared.

 

According to the story of this sequel Laura Winner arrives to Mysteryville for a visit but, unfortunately, her vacation turns into solving the mystery of disappearance of her good friend Bill Witovsky.

 

Laura Winner learns also that the whole town is getting ready for holding a big art auction.

 

The idea of the auction was brought by a new priest Peter.

 

The more facts she finds out, the more the disappearance and the auction seem to be linked.

 

The hidden-object tasks are entwined into the story and dialogues very well.

 

The thing that makes Mysteryville games so outstanding comparing to the other hidden-object games is the tight connection between the plot and the tasks given to you.

 

For example, the priest asks Laura to find all the ornamental cups in the cathedral.

 

Even when the items on the list are not from one field it's usually explained by Laura having to help with a mess in the place.

 

The same goes for different puzzles that fill the game.

 

New characters and challenging levels will make the game an enjoyable experience.

 

You are to find all the items or solve the puzzles within the time limit.

 

The time limit is really tough for some levels and you may have to try again.

 

There is also a tip button but don't rely much on it. Once you've used it, it'll take time for the meter to recharge.

 

The game features 22 stages that represent different places.

 

You are going to meet a character in every place. Some of them will be familiar from the previous game but there are new ones as well.

 

The end of the game makes it clear that the game will be continued. Mysteryville 2 has a whole lot of variations to offer for those who would eagerly play it again while looking forward for the new sequel.
