Little Shop - World Traveler: Just The Right Challenge
GameHouse presents a good surprise for Little Shop fans! Little Shop - World Traveller keeps all the best features from the previous sequels in addition to new amazing and colourful scenes. Looking for hidden objects becomes even more enthralling with the new Little Shop!
Be ready to just the right level of challenge. You won't be able to find everything with ease, but you won't get stuck either.
This time, a mysterious client wishes you were present at locations around the globe. As you play, you travel to a variety of tourist destinations like Tahiti, Madagascar, Hong Kong, Australia, Antarctica, Venice, Egypt, Peru, Japan, and Area 51 in the USA.
The ground rules are still the same: you must find at least items to be able to pass to the next location. In addition to the items which are shown in the bottom and are binding to be found you should also keep your eye out for question marks, cameras, thermometers, stamps, overpacked suitcases etc. The latest simply burst open when clicked, question marks give you extra hints. Well, as you may know, hints do not help much in this game as they only show how required items do look but don't indicate them directly on the screen what is sometimes almost useless when searching for well camouflaged and color blended things. Much more I liked cameras which exert a flash peak after you've clicked on them, so that only required items are shown on the white background. Your task is to collect them quickly till the time of flash is over.
Found thermometers show flames when you are close to the searched item and make the name of this item cover with ice when you are far from it. There are also specific power-ups to help you and they are a surprise as you never know which object you should klick on to make hidden items tremble when it's coming closer to them. Stamps let you see your passport stamped appropriately.
After each successful completion given group of locations you are offered a "shake-it" minigame in Blitz mode that is also of a HOG style. Collect necessary coins or playing cards or God knows what, to unlock more scenes portraying all imaginable corners of the world.
To sum up, Little Shop has a reputation for being one of the better hidden object game series, and Little Shop: World Traveler is no exception.
