Lots and lots of fashion-themed games were released lately. And being so numerous, they are still so alike.

 

Well Fashion Solitaire, developed by Large Animal Games and published by Lifetime Games, does bring something new on the stage.

 

 

Your task is to find the items that would match the requirements of each model.

 

 

So what you are basically doing in this game is you are creating some new outfits, dressing your models according to their requirements and hosting fashion shows.

 

You've got a mentor to lead you through all this. She leads you and gives comments and words of encouragement.

 

So the solitaire part goes as follows. You get a layout and you can see only the top cards.

 

Only having taken them you can see what's underneath. Why do you need to know what's underneath? Because you are actually searching for certain cards. Cards have different items of clothing and accessories on them. And there are models you are to dress right next to the layout. Your task is to find the items that would match the requirements of each model.

 

You only have a limited number of prints, cuts, patterns etc... but their number grows as you progress through the game.

 

This create-something-of-your-own part is what makes it different from the rest fashion-themed games.

 

Now about the more creative process. You can also create your own outfits.

 

The more of your own items you use the more bonuses you get. You can spend all the bonuses on buying new stuff for creating beautiful pieces of clothing.

 

This part of the game is what makes it different from the rest fashion-themed titles. You are really involved in creating the designs of your own.

 

The only thing you need to think about is that these outfits will be added to your deck which means they must be usable then in meeting the models' requirements.

 

You are to host a fashion show after you've gone through all the rounds. You can take pictures of the outfits you've created and then share them with your friend.
