Elemental - Get All Elements Off Your Board
Elemental - is a nice matching game from Oberon Media. You are to travel around 4 unique worlds matching the tiles.
The game is the one to keep you busy destroying the tiles of different colors.
You are to flip the tiles of one color to change their color and make several of them disappear.
In Elemental you have to flip the tiles of two colors.
They are placed randomly on the board and new ones are being added from the bottom.
So your task is to match them by flipping the tiles of one of two colors.
If you match four or more tiles, they disappear.
You can also flip not by one tile only, but by several at once.
You do that just by dragging your mouse over the tiles you want to flip. It makes the task much easier.
When you want to flip several tiles, you can do that only if you draw a tetris-like block, not just the tiles you want. On flipping they change their color.
The game can be played in two modes: Classic or Challenged.
There are two modes in the game: Classic and Challenge.
In The Classic Mode you have to go from one level to another; from one world to another.
There are 4 worlds: Air, Water, Earth, and Fire.
In The Challenge Mode your task is to get the required score.
Once you reach it, a new higher score is set. So, choose the one you enjoy most.
The important thing is that you should not let the tiles reach the top. Otherwise you won't get to the next level in either mode.
The game is full of both power-ups and power-downs.
While playing you get some power-ups that help you destroy the tiles much faster, like bombs or lightning.
The Black Square power-up, for example, stops the time and the tiles stop moving.
The power-ups appear just on the tiles and get into action once you destroy the tile the power-up is on.
There are also obstacles, like big stones falling from above.
The stones can not be destroyed. You have to destroy all the tiles under a stone. Then the stone disappears once it touches the bottom.
There are also clocks that fall down like tiles and they are of the same colors as the tiles. The clocks turn into tiles once their hands make the whole round. You can not use them as tiles before that.
Elemental would be a nice puzzle game for a change.
