Flux Family Secrets: The Ripple Effect is one of the latest releases in the hidden object game genre. Developed by Skunk Studios and published by Big Fish Games the games takes you on a journey through time and space. Jesse grew up not knowing much about her past, so she's excited to
receive a letter from the Flux Family promising answers if she helps
them retrieve various historical artifacts by travelling through time
with the help of a special device. In each of the game's 10 chapters you'll visit three different
historically significant locations, such as Shakespeare's theatre in
Renaissance-era England, ancient China in Confucious's time, and the
famous Abbey Road recording studio in the 1960s.
Emerald City Confidential is a new game to take you into Oz you have never seen before. The new puzzle game was developed by Wadjet Eye Games and published by PlayFirst.
You are to solve a case going through a number of mysteries. And you go
through all of the journey with already familiar characters -
Scarecrow, Lion, Dorothy and Toto. The money offered for the case you
are to solve made it worthy to take up but soon Petra, your
character, realizes the depth of mysteries and danger. Emerald City Confidential is a beautiful game with lovingly-crafted, detailed scenes and plenty of animation.
CSI:NY - The Game is a new show-basedhidden object game developed by Legacy Games and published by Ubisoft/Big Fish Games. The game offers a great opportunity to play several cases with already
familiar characters. The graphics (I mean characters) and sounds (I
mean voices) are all borrowed from the tv show.
You have 4 cases to solve. When you start each of them you see the intro reminiscent from the show.
After the investigation of a crime scene you play a number of hidden
object games and different mini-games, that usually represent all kinds
of analyses.
Lost in The City is a thrilling quest game with a completely engaging story, addictive game play and high quality graphics. Though some of the features might be annoying, on the whole the game is definitely worth trying. It is called "The gloomiest story of love and hate", and I'm rather prone to agree. But I'll let you discover the whole story by yourself and talk about the game play instead.
For each chapter you'll have a number of tasks to complete. Some of
them are presented in a strict sequence and some can be fulfilled in
any order. There are also some mini-games, mostly jigsaw puzzles, to make the game play a bit more diverse.
Black Hummer Productions have developed and PlayFirst have
published
a new sequel of a hidden-object and puzzle game - Nightshift
Legacy: The Jaguar\'s Eye. The sequel may bring out thoughts and
emotions different form those from the first one, but it is still worth
our attention anyways. We meet the same characters from the first game
- Mike and Isabel. And
again they are found in the process of search, dangerous search. The
game offers 6 chapters in total with several different levels each. So
this is what Nightshift Legacy: The Jaguar\'s Eye offers us: intriguing
story, challenging tasks and nice audio-visuals.
