Melesta and Alawar have given us a great reason to be happy this week, as they have released the third installment of their extremely successful series of farming strategy games - Farm Frenzy: Pizza Party. The same addictive game play, the same cute graphics, the same challenging tasks - and even more fun with new features and 90 levels. As in previous games, there is no special story, you just get your farm and start playing. Of course, on the first of the 90 levels you begin with a single chicken, a well, warehouse and a truck. Later on you'll be able to raise 10 types of animals and produce 28 types of goods in 15 different buildings, each with a number of possible upgrades.
The new and totally addictive game Totem Tribe will make you in charge of a small tribe trying to survive and lead a healthy and stable life. The strategy game play offers much diversity, and the stunning graphics are beyond any praise. So, you start your game as Aruku, the young, beautiful and very responsible chieftain of the Hawk Tribe. Everything used to be steady and peaceful on their Planet, until the Epoch of the Comet came and disturbing signs appeared in space. As to the game play, as I already said, it's mainly strategy. For each island you'll have a number of objectives revealed to you one by one.
Chocolatier: Decadence By Design is a new sequel of a hit simulation game. Developed by Big Splash Games and published by PlayFirst, the game takes you again into chocolate factories business. Even though the goals are the same, the techniques are pretty familiar, there still is some new interesting featues and the wraping itself to get you involved. In this sequel you take over the family business from Alex, who set off to find her husband that never came back from the war. What war? World War II - this is the era you are in. It will be a fresh gaming experience for the fans of the game as well as an interesting and addictive experience for the freshmen.
Orchard is another strategy and time-management game devoted to the
theme of gardening and running your own farm. Actually, orchard this
time. While the visuals might seem not of the best quality it could be
(quite nice though), the game play offers some rather attractive
features. The basic game play is real-time strategy with some elements of time-management and simulation. One of the main attractions of the game is the possibility and, actually, necessity of hiring additional workers. On the whole the strategy part of the game is quite
engaging, though the visuals and story leave much to be desired. But
it's up to you to try!
Fugazo Games have released the second part of their hit Cooking Academy, and the sequel preserves all the great features of the original game. Delicious food to cook, lots of information on various world cuisines and addictive simulation game play - all this makes Cooking Academy 2: World Cuisine a perfect choice for action gamers. The graphics are great - nothing more to say, you have to see it by your own eyes. And the music, changing from stage to stage to match the national environment, creates a nice background. So, if you are ready to test your culinary skills and maybe even find something to use in your everyday kitchen life - it's time to attend Cooking Academy 2: World Cuisine!
